The first wind farm in the province of Aklan. A project of Petrowind, the wind mills are located in Pawa, Nabas, Aklan which is only less than an hour away from the world renowned Boracay Island.
5. HINUGTAN BEACH, BURUANGA, AKLAN
Situated in Brgy. Bel-is, Buruanga, Aklan, it is just a approximately 30-45 minutes away from Boracay Island. Hinugtan beach is only very small with a short white sand stretch. Its waters however are crystal clear with fine sand and aside from swimming, it is also ideal for other beach and water activities like snorkeling, kayaking, volleyball and alike, sans the huge crowd.
