Sipalay City: The Sugary Paradise

I often go to Bacolod City as my brother and his family reside there. However, last December 26, 2015, literally a day after Christmas, we decided to go further south in Sipalay City which is approximately 4 hours by land from Bacolod City and see for ourselves why a lot of tourists are flocking there lately. Alas, when we arrived there it did not disappoint us. Its long stretch of white to sugary beaches sans the large crowd is a fresh beautiful sight, perfect for those who love and enjoy swimming. However, my most favorite place was the Perth Paradise Resort situated at Brgy. 4 Sitio Sambulawan, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental. It is a mountain resort and among its amenities is a small infinity pool, not that luxurious but the view of many small islets facing the pool makes the place very divine, more dramatic and picturesque, one that would make a perfect cover photo for your facebook account.

Other interesting places to go are Tinagong Dagat Island Resort, which is just a few kilometers away from Perth, and the Sugar Beach area for a quick boat ride and short visit to the caves in Sipalay.

How to get there?

Take a bus at Bacolod Southbound Ceres bus terminal. It will directly take you to Sipalay City. Then from the Sipalay market, take a tricyle to take you directly to Perth Paradise and nearby attractions. Fare is PHP100.
